Walk with old friends and new friends, with family, colleagues, with your dogs (and other people’s dogs!) and celebrate the power of connection with other others.

We know how good walking can be for our physical and mental wellbeing, especially when you’re with good company!

Why are we doing it?

Help us reach our target of £10,000 to enable us to support older people struggling with loneliness and work with them to co-create a new vibrant Connected Community. Enabling older people to participate in stimulating activities, build social networks, and celebrate the experience and skills of those participating.

A perfect storm of COVID isolation and the cost-of-living crisis, coupled with life events such as bereavement, illness, relationship breakdown, decrease in income, housing issues, rural isolation and decreasing mobility, have generated a significant rise in clients presenting with feelings of loneliness and anxiety.
